Packy Lundholm is a Chicago based musician. He not only plays in several different bands, but he is also a studio musician. Packy came to me with an idea for a logo based on a graphic he had on his guitar.
I aquired images of his guitar, and drew various versions of the graphic he had in mind. The Grateful Dead has played a major role in Packy's career as a musician. In a way The Grateful Dead molded Packy Lundholm and the music he creates. The addition of the rose at the top of the tree of life makes that connection of Packy with the Grateful Dead.
The growth of the tree from his name represents his growth as a musician.
