Concept 9 uses an original die cut. Up to this point I have been trying to keep the sizes simple in order to keep print costs down. I wanted to show you a large variety of designs so I thought one die cut would be a good idea.
This die cut outlines the shape of the Makarov. Die cuts always bring more attention and eye catching qualities to a label. The uniqueness of this die cut would speak for itself. I wanted to follow the shape of the gun with the name. Almost creating a gun symbol out of the name.
Massive color contrast is helping the name, and gun really come through. This color combination is the definition of "eye catching". The design is simple but the die cut creates so much for the consumer to view and take in.
