XTO IMAGE AWARDS:
the xto image awards is a competition for nude imagery either in photos or illustrations. By nude I do not mean pornographic, but tasteful expression of the human form. I was asked to design three pages for their website: a homepage (found to the left), a text heavy page, and an image heavy page. In working with the full design the client asked for a clean, simple, design which allowed the art to take the main stage on the screen.
I was also asked to develop a logo. We worked together to come up with the color scheme, which has a pleasant light human tone to it. The sub links found at the bottom (prizes, judges, 2009, and exhibit) are rollover links. When the viewer rolls over the winners or competition each respected sub links will appear. When the viewer has the one of those pages open the sub links will stay open.
The client was extremely pleased with the outcome. The design is fresh, clean, and simple which is exactly what the client wanted.(View the site at www.x.to)
