XTO IMAGE AWARDS:
I was also asked to develop a logo for the xto image awards. The client wanted the logo to be simple, elegant, and clean. I used Avenir and kept everything lower case to escalate the idea of subtle beauty. I manipulated the "t" so it would mimic a human body reaching out to each of the other letters. The use of Avenir also played a roll with the tail of the "t". The xto image awards are majority nude related art. The T found in Avenir has movement and curved shapes, which represent the human form. The client was extremely pleased with the logo and website design.
